Years 5 and 6 have just spent four days in Rue, France, where they immersed themselves in the French culture. They stayed in the Château du Broutel, ate French cuisine and visited the Albert Museum, WWI trenches in the Somme and the Thiepval French-British Memorial of the Unknown. Furthermore, they made butter at the Cow Farm, played games on the beach, as well as having a 'chocolat chaud' in a local café. The children ended the week with a disco and a visit to the chocolate factory before getting the ferry home.
