We are proud of our consistently high academic standards. Year after year, our pupils achieve excellent results in Key Stage 2 SATs, regularly placing Ickford as the top-performing primary school in Buckinghamshire. These outcomes reflect our dedicated teaching team, supportive community, and the high expectations we hold for every child.

Our committed and experienced staff work hard to deliver a broad, exciting, and engaging curriculum that both challenges and inspires. We are equally fortunate to have excellent facilities, enabling us to offer a rich range of co-curricular opportunities—from the creative arts to a wide range of sports and outdoor learning.  All children at Ickford learn French, with pupils in Year 6 also introduced to German and Latin and every child learns to read, compose, and perform music—beginning with the recorder in Key Stage 1 and progressing to the violin in Key Stage 2.

We strongly believe that education is most effective when home and school work in partnership. That’s why we value open communication between staff, trustees and parents, working closely with families to support every child in achieving their very best.
